The structure of Cancún International Airport consists of several terminals, each of which serves certain types of flights. The airport is considered fairly simple and compact, but at the same time very overloaded during the season. It is this combination that often misleads passengers: it seems that passing all stages will be easy, but the reality turns out to be different. The terminals are located separately from one another, there are no pedestrian connections between them, and transfers are carried out only by transport. After a long transatlantic flight, inexperienced passengers can easily become disoriented, especially if the flight arrives during peak hours or with a delay.
